WALLE MODULAR SHLEF

This modular shelf system designed for ultimate simplicity and flexibility.

It comprises four main components: vertical wooden planks with grooves on both sides, colourful shelf boards from folded aluminium and a bracing cross. By connecting the sides with the bracing cross using a pin, the boards can be easily slid in from the front. Notably, each adjacent board is placed on different levels, adding a playful and dynamic energy to the bookcase and encouraging users to rearrange it according to their preferences.

The design goals included ease of setup and disassembly, lightweight and compact storage, flexibility in accommodating various objects, modularity for expandability, and the use of recyclable or regrowing resources, all without the need for a single screw.
